Shrinking, shrinking… our space around us is shrinking. Boxes are piled up high, and higher. One pile is so high that our little sofa is beginning to be an oasis in our shrinking brown cardboard “igloo”. My inside was beginning to grumble, until I watched an episode of “Tiny House Nation,” on television, where a trend is growing to live in really small, efficient homes. Really small. They chose those houses, our situation chose us.
We are in the throes of packing up our small apartment to move to a lovely, big house of our own! Very exciting. But now we endure the transition – the crunch time, and I need does of daily grace to make it through missing packing tape, missing cell phone, and concentration. This too shall pass, and there is so much to be thankful for. God is giving us a great new beginning and abundant blessings and SPACE! Normal House, Vermont!
